Mr. Dog dropped out of St. Phillips College, hung wallpaper very well for a few years, tried having a real job (with a tie, shoes & everything), and experienced the joys of the corporate workplace before migrating over to the used instrument business at Krazy Kat. He's been playing guitar since 1978 and has appeared on LP's and CD's by Amoeba (Robert Rich), Boxcar Satan, Test Dept, Psychic TV, Pigface, Evil Mothers, Crevice, and S.A. Slayer to name some that might be recognizable. Bobdog has given lectures on his musical views at the University of the Incarnate Word, Trinity University, and San Antonio College.
He has recently released the debut CD of his band Pseudo Buddha, entitled Motive, on Uncle Buzz Records. He is working on the first CD from ambient weirdoes Dreamland, as well as editing and mixing a series of live recordings by modern chamber group the Soli Ensemble. He will be starting a transatlantic collaboration with Martin Atkins any second now. These recordings are all realized with the invaluable assistance of his trusty Corp of Engineers, the Smiling Dog, the Happiest Dog and the One-Eyed Brown Dog.
